"The Scottish Nappy Company Response to Environment Agency Report"
- Company response to the highly-flawed Environment Agency Life Cycle Assessment of
Disposable and Reusable Nappies in the UK which was released in 2005 and has recently
been irresponsibly dredged up again in July 2007 by Ben Bradshaw.
We now stock products from Ocean Pure.
They provide an alternative to using wet-wipes at nappy changing time. The product is
a sterile, isotonic solution derived from seawater, and is stored in a 100ml spray can
which is recyclable, uses no solvents or propellants, and keeps the isotonic seawater
solution sterile at all times. The spray may be used at any angle making it easy to
apply and wipe off.
The corresponding natural cotton wipes are not chlorine
bleached so they are kind to your baby's skin and to the environment. The wipes are
machine washable and may be used many times.
